Hamilton Child's Gazetteer and Business Directory of Windham County, VT1724-1884, Vol. 1, p. 304-30, some information on the Benjamin Walden ofTownshend, who was one of the people appointed to do the inventory onTabethy Austin's estate:
"James Walden and his wife, Martha Miller, came to Townshend in 1780.Their son Benjamin, who was then eight years old, married Celia Witherelland reared four children, Daniel, Fanny, Cynthia and Ahuira. Danielmarried Rebecca Osgood, April 12, 1829, and spent most of his life inTownshend. He died March 23, 1880, aged eighty-two years and ninemonths. He was for many years a member of the Baptist church ofBrookline. Mrs. Celia M. Cutler, of Brookline, is the onlyrepresentative of his family left."
(My Note: Celia M. Cutler is Celia Waldron, granddaughter of BenjaminWaldron. She married Charles A. Cutler, who is the grandson of JonathanCutler and Lydia Waldron. Benjamin Waldron and Lydia Waldron aresiblings, both children of James Waldron.)
